Misako Ballet Company's Virtual Double Good Popcorn Fundraiser

Misako Ballet Company creates classical ballet and Japanese-themed performances to bring joy to our community and increase awareness of our cultural diversity. This Fall, MBC brings more joy through our Double Good Popcorn fundraiser. Those of you familiar with Double Good are already looking for the link to make your delicious popcorn purchases. If you are not familiar with Double Good, you are in for a tasty gourmet treat while helping MBC meet its fundraising goal! This year, MBC is installing a new dance floor in the studios. We are raising $5000 to complete the project. Thanks for helping us do what we love - DANCE - (on a brand new floor)!

The MBC store will only be open Tuesday, October 10 through Saturday, October 14 and Double Good will ship your made to order popcorn directly to you in 1-2 weeks. Share the link with friends and family to spread the joy.

Misako Ballet Studio Holiday Studio Concert

Dear Parents & Students,

It’s so important for students to celebrate their accomplishments with a mini-performance where they can feel pride that their continued mastery in dance helps boost their confidence and self-esteem. Misako Ballet Studio is excited to offer both parents and students a holiday studio concert to celebrate their accomplishments.

Each class will showcase a wonderful dance routine that students will show their parents in December. They have been practicing these routines for a couple weeks now.

We strongly encourage you to help your kids have as close an experience to a year-end showcase as possible.

The special event fee for all Elementary Ballet students and Hip Hop will be $20. For students in Ballet 3 and up, and Modern dance, the fee is $40. There is a fee of $20 for each additional costume needed. Payment is due by November 22.

The presentations will be held in the large dance studio (which will have curtains for the shows) on December 10th, 20th and 22nd. A short dress rehearsal will be held for the students on the day of the concert immediately before the show. Show times are as follows:

Saturday Dec 10th @ 11:00 am | Students should arrive 9:45 am

Cherry Blossom Dance Party

Join Misako Ballet Company for dance, songs, crafts, and more during this Cherry Blossom spring season!

Preregister by March 18 to be included in this fun event! The fee for each child is $10; however, additional fees may be collected by Eventbrite. Parents are welcomed to be accompanied with their children.

All guests attending the Holiday Dance Party are asked to wear a mask and remain socially distanced throughout the event. Each child will be provided with a bag of supplies to complete crafts. Please, keep your child home if they are experiencing any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 or any other illness or if you have been exposed to someone who has had signs or symptoms of COVID-19. CDC and Howard County Health Department COVID-19 Protocols will be followed. If event is cancelled for any reason, participants will receive a refund.
